Our Mission
Under The leadeship of our Founder Mrs. Veniece Outten-Hines, she is a visionary, a nurturer, and a warrior for women and families in crisis. Through This nonprofit organization, OUR SAFE HAVYN INC., she is changing lives and restoring hope—one woman, one child, one family at a time.
OUR SAFE HAVYN INC. is a nonprofit founded on compassion and driven by action. With a mission to support women in distressed situations—including those facing abuse, violation, homelessness, and poverty—Veniece and her team provide tangible resources, emotional support, and safe pathways toward healing and independence.
Our Programs
Core Programs & Outreach Initiatives:
• Emergency Relief Services
Providing essentials like food, clothing, and shelter assistance for women in immediate crisis situations.
• Back-to-School Support
Every year, OUR SAFE HAVYN INC. hosts an annual Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway in underserved communities. Children also receive uniforms, clothing, and other school essentials to start the academic year with confidence and dignity.
• Holiday Assistance
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, families in need are provided with meals and food packages, spreading warmth, joy, and relief during the holiday season.
• Ongoing Food Distribution
Every 2–3 months, families receive fresh bread and pastries, generously shared with the community and local churches supporting families in need.
• Emergency Housing & Personal Mentorship
Veniece has personally opened her home to young women in crisis, offering shelter, stability, and guidance to help them rebuild their lives and break free from harmful environments.
